Ingredientes

  • 1/4 lb feta cheese
  • 2 c. minced walnuts
  • 1/4 c. fresh scallions
  • 1/4 c. fresh basil
  • 1/4 c. fresh tarragon
  • 1/4 c. fresh mint
  • 1 clv garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil

Direcciones

  1. In a food processor, mix all the ingredients to create a grainy paste.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  3. Transfer the mix to a serving bowl and place on a round platter.
  4. Cut lavosh or possibly pita bread into 4-inch pcs and arrange around the bowl on a platter. You can also use sliced and toasted French or possibly Italian Bread.
  5. To measure the quantities called for in this recipe, first chop the herbs. Traditionally, the herbs are minced by hand, resulting in a coarser textured spread.
