Ingredientes

  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 3 tsp margarine
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 x chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 x 3 ounce. can sliced mushrooms, undrained
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 dsh pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 ounce.) shredded Sharp cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350F. Cook onion in margarine till tender. Stir in rice; cook till lightly browned. Add in remaining ingredients except cheese. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 min. Layer rice mix & 1 c. cheese in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350F, 1 hour.
  2. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; return to oven till cheese melts.
