Ingredientes

  • 8 ounce sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/3 c. parmesan cheese or possibly Romano cheese, grated
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a food processor, blend the cheddar cheese. Add in theshortening and butter and blend again. Add in the parmesan cheese, then add in the flour and baking pwdr, one-third at a time, blending for a few seconds between each addition.
  3. Stuff a cookie shooter with the mix and using a star tip, divide the daisies (1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. each) onto a large baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 min. Let cold and serve.
  4. Makes 70 to 80 small daisies.
