Ingredientes

  • 1 lg. loaf French bread
  • 1 c. (1/4 pound) Swiss or possibly Cheddar (shredded)
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 3 T oil
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry oregano

Direcciones

  1. Cut a lengthwise slice from top of bread. Set aside. press down inside of loaf, forming a shallow pocket. Don't overfill. Replace top. Wrap in foil. Bake for 20 min at 350 degrees. Put under broiler for just 2 min to make top crispy. Cool slightly. Cut into slices. Serves 8-10.
