Cheese Topped Turkey Escalopes

Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Light extra virgin olive oil or possibly vegetable oil
  • 75 gm Mushrooms eg button, closed c., chestnut, finely diced (3oz)
  • 1 bn Salad onions, finely sliced
  • 1 x 200 g carton Creamery Light soft cream cheese
  • 2 slc Premium smoked ham, finely diced Salt and freshly grnd black pepper Oil to shallow fry
  • 4 x Turkey escalopes

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, stir in the mushrooms and salad onions and gently fry for 3-4 min till softened but not browned.
  2. Allow to cold.
  3. Place the Creamery into a small mixing bowl, stir in the sauteed mushrooms, salad onions, diced ham and add in seasoning to taste.
  4. Heat the remaining Tbsp. of oil in the frying pan, cook two escalopes at a time for 10-15 min each side, till golden and thoroughly cooked through.
  5. Place the escalopes onto a baking tray and pour any cooking juices from the frying pan into the cream cheese mix and fold in.
  6. Preheat a warm grill.
  7. Divide the cream cheese mix into four and spoon onto each escalope smoothing the mix to the edges.
  8. Place the topped escalopes under the grill for 4-5 min till the mix starts to brown and slightly melts.
  9. Notes Serve the turkey escalopes immediately and accompany with baked potatoes or possibly rice, and green vegetables or possibly a mixed salad.
  10. NOTES : Succulent turkey escalopes topped with a creamy mix of soft cheese, smoked ham and mushrooms.
