Receta Cheesy Knots
I think the hardest part of blogging is that balancing act.
You want to be truthful, but you must be diplomatic enough to say what you need to say without offending anyone.
With a Catholic website, I don't want to offend my non catholic friends by appearing too "preachy".
On the other hand, some Catholics may think I am not being "spiritual enough".
I blog because it makes me happy, and if you enjoy it then it is a win win for everyone.
So, when one of my blog posts gets 99 votes on foodbuzz and I am not picked for the top 9, I shrug it off. I know in my heart that it was the best I could do. Someone else needed it more than I did.
Also, when foodgawker rejects me yet again, I know in my heart I took the best picture I could.
How do I know this?
Most of all, yall have been the best.
Thank you.
So, without sounding to preachy, sometimes god gives you what you need, not necessarily what you want.

Roll each portion of the dough into a long rope shape. Gently tie each one loosely into a single knot. Place on the cookie sheets and allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size, approximately 1 hour.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. While they are baking in the oven combine the melted butter and garlic powder. When you remove the knots from the oven brush them with the butter/garlic mixture and sprinkle them with a pinch or two of Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately.
