Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. Hard packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 3/4 c. Apple butter* or possibly apple sauce
  • 2 x Egg whites or possibly 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Skim lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda

  1. L ts grnd cinnamonl/2 ts salt (optional)
  2. 1/4 ts grnd nutmeg (optional)
  3. 3 c QUAKER Oats uncooked(quick or possibly old fashioned)
  4. l c raisins/diced dry mixed fruit
  5. Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly spray cookie sheet with no-stick cooking spray. Beat together sugars and margarine till well blended. Add in apple butter, egg whites, lowfat milk and vanilla; beat well. Add in combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. (Dough will be moist.) Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 min or possibly till edges are light golden. Cold 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cold completely. Store in tightly covered container.
  6. Apple butter is usually available in your supermarket's jam & jelly section.
  7. Convenient Bar Cookies: Spread dough onto bottom of ungreased 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake 25 to 30 min or possibly till edges are light golden. Cold completely; cut into bars. Store tightly covered. 32 BARS
