Chicken And Sambal Sandwich

The chicken patties; aromatic and scented with spring onions and coriander leaves. And the sambal; Asian spicy tangy power.

Ingredientes

  • For the sambal/chili gravy
  • 1 tbsp (or the amount you like) dried chili paste
  • 1 large onion - cut into rings
  • 1 tomato -- chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Vinegar to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • For the chicken patties
  • 500g minced chicken
  • 2 sprigs coriander leaves - chopped/shredded
  • 2 sprigs spring onions - chopped/shredded
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste
  • To assemble
  • 3 slices of bread- toasted/grilled (with or without crust)
  • 2 slices of cheese

Direcciones

  1. For the sambal/chili gravy
  2. Heat oil and saute onion.
  3. Add chili paste and tomato.
  4. Fry till oil splits.
  5. Season with vinegar, sugar and salt.
  6. Remove and keep aside
  7. For the chicken patties
  8. Mix all the ingredients together.
  9. Split the portion into two.
  10. Shape and pat into flat patties.
  11. Fry, grill or bake.
  12. Remove once done.
  13. To assemble:
  14. Deck up; bread, patties, sambal and cheese.
