Chicken Cheese 'N Biscuits

Ingredientes

  • 1 tbsp. + 1 teaspoon butter
  • 2 tbsp. + 2 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • Dash pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. skim lowfat milk
  • 1 packet instant chicken broth mix
  • 4 ounce. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounce. diced cooked chicken
  • 1 c. carrots
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. broccoli florets
  • 4 buttermilk biscuits

Direcciones

  1. In saucepan heat butter till bubbly; add in flour, sage and mustard, stir to combine. Gradually add in lowfat milk, stirring constantly. Cook till smooth. Add in chicken granules and pepper. Reduce heat, cook till thick, 5 - 10 min, stirring occasionally. Add in cheese, stir till melted. Cook carrots, mushrooms and broccoli slightly in microwave. Add in to mix. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 4 small casserole dishes with cooking spray. Pour mix, divided into them. Separate biscuits, top each casserole with 1 biscuit. Bake 7 to 10 min till golden.
