Ingredientes

  • 700 gm Chicken, cut into 4 cm cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil, (30 ml)
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, (30 g)
  • 6 x Flakes, (12 g) garlic, minced
  • 5 x Cm ginger, julienned
  • 8 x Fresh red or possibly green chillies, shredded (or possibly more)
  • 2 lrg Onions, (120 g)
  • 2 tsp Curry masala pwdr, (10 g) Salt to taste
  • 2 x Chicken soup cubes
  • 150 ml Water
  • 5 x Green chillies, slit lengthways
  • 2 x Tomatoes, cut into thin slices (120 g)
  • 15 gm Coriander leaves, minced
  • 1 x Lemon, juice of

Direcciones

  1. HEAT the oil in a wok. Fry the chicken till it is sealed, stirring frequently. Remove from oil and put in a pan. Heat the butter in a wok and fry the garlic, ginger and chillies for one minute. Add in the onions and fry until well browned. Add in half of the curry masala pwdr and stir well. Add in the chicken pcs and salt and saute/fry for 10 min. Add in the fried onions, soup cubes and water to the chicken.
  2. Mix well. Cook until done and dry. Add in the green chillies, tomato slices and the remaining curry masala pwdr and saute/fry for three min. Serve garnished with coriander leaves with a squeeze of lemon juice.
  3. NOTES : A sort of spicy cross between a plain stew and a curry, really tasty, and you can add in as many chillies as you like
