Receta Chicken Chinese Style

Ingredientes
- 4 half breasts of chicken
- 1 (1 pound 4 ounce.) can pineapple chunks
- 1/4 c. syrup from pineapple
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. dry sherry (optional)
- 1/4 c. veg. oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp. toasted sesame seed (optional)
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Direcciones
- Remove skin and bones from the chicken breasts. Cut into chunks or possibly strips. Drain pineapple, reserve syrup. Combine 1/4 c. syrup with catsup, sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice and sherry. Simmer 10 min. Meanwhile, flour chicken pcs. Brown chicken pcs quickly in heated oil in 10" skillet for about 10 min. Drain well and remove to 9"x13"x2" baking pan. Add in pineapple chunks. Pour sauce over. Toss to coat well and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 min till chicken is cooked and glazed. Serve with warm cooked rice.
