Ingredientes

  • 1 chicken breast per person
  • 1-2 tbsp. oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 onions, sliced (optional)
  • 2 green peppers, sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon bottled Liquid Smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tbsp. lime juice
  • Flour tortillas
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Lowfat sour cream
  • Guacamole
  • Pico de gallo

Direcciones

  1. Cut chicken into strips and marinate in lime juice while slicing vegetables. Heat oil and saute/fry garlic, add in onion rings and green peppers, saute/fry. Remove from skillet, add in more oil, then chicken, liquid smoke, salt and pepper. Saute/fry till chicken is white (just a few min). Add in vegetables to reheat.
  2. Hot tortillas and fix fajitas like tacos with the other ingredients. Guacamole and Pico de Gallo recipes are below. One chicken breast usually makes 3 fajitas and this is filling for the normal appetite.
