Chicken Meat Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce.) can chicken broth
  • 1/2 of 10 ounce. pkg. mixed vegetables
  • 3 potatoes, diced in sm. cubes (slightly cooked)
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 c. minced chicken

Direcciones

  1. Cook onion in 2 Tbsp. butter over medium high heat 3 min or possibly till tender. Add in combined water, broth, 1/4 c. flour, seasoning and salt. Cook 3 min or possibly till thickened. Stir in chicken, vegetables, potatoes.
  2. Prepare pastry (use favorite pie pastry, rolling thicker than dessert pie). Pour mix onto pie pastry. Cover with pastry on top. Make a slash in the top crust to allow steam to escape. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40-60 min or possibly till pie is a light brown.
