Chicken N Stuffing With Mushroom Sauce

A long-forgotten favorite remembered! This recipe was a 70's Go-To recipe that is quick and delicious & made in one baking dish. Most of the ingredients are pantry staples. I can't believe I haven't made this in years, but now that I found it again...it will be a regular on my kitchen table. You can use mayonnaise or sour cream. I purchase a six-pack of small white & red wines to use in recipes. They are the perfect amount without any waste. Enjoy!

Ingredientes

  • 4 Chicken Breasts, boneless and medium thickness
  • 1 cup of StoveTop stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream or mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • cheese, your favorite, shredded
  • pats of butter

Direcciones

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Layer chicken In a 9X13 inch baking dish
  3. In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream or mayo. and white wine
  4. Pour mixture over chicken breasts
  5. Crush stuffing and layer on top
  6. Cover stuffing with your favorite cheese
  7. Pats of butter goes on top
  8. Place in oven and bake for 50 minutes.
