Receta Chicken & Sausage

Ingredientes
- 1 chicken, cut up
- 1 pound sausage (polish or possibly smoked, cut up)
- 1 lg. can whole tomatoes
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- Fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 c. flour
- Red pepper flakes
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 c. white wine or possibly chicken broth
- Bay leaf
- 2 lg. cloves garlic, diced
- Basil
- Dry parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Salt, pepper and coat chicken with flour. Brown in extra virgin olive oil. Remove to platter. Brown sausage and remove. Saute/fry green pepper, onions and mushrooms. Add in tomatoes. Stir. Add in white wine or possibly chicken broth and spices. Stir till slightly thickened. Add in more flour if needed. Return chicken and sausage and cover. Cook till tender. Serve with rice or possibly pasta or possibly cheese garlic grits.
