Ingredientes

  • 4 x boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 med onion, minced
  • 2 lrg cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • 3/4 c. dry red wine Or possibly reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 x bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper Salt, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cook chicken in oil in large skillet till browned on both sides, about 8 min. Stir in onion and garlic and saute/fry till tender, about 5 min; sprinkle with flour and cook 1 to 2 min longer.
  2. Add in remaining ingredients, except salt; heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, till chicken is tender, about 15 min; simmer, uncovered, till thickened to desired consistency, 5 - 10 min. Throw away bay leaf; season to taste with salt.
