Chicken Szechuan With Peanuts

Ingredientes

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. dry sherry
  • 2 whole chicken breasts, boned, skinned, and cut into 1 inch pcs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. hoisin sauce, or possibly molasses
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 2-3 dry whole red peppers
  • 1/3 c. raw or possibly dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 bunches green onion, minced, including tops

Direcciones

  1. Beat egg white with 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, 1 Tbsp. soy sauce, and sherry till frothy. Marinate chicken in the mix for 30 min.
  2. In a small bowl, combine salt, sugar, garlic, vinegar, hoisin sauce, water, 1 Tbsp. cornstarch, and 2 Tbsp. soy sauce. Blend till smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or possibly wok; stir-fry chicken and red peppers. Add in peanuts and green onion. Add in vinegar mix; cook 5 min.
  4. Serve with rice.
