Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 chicken breast cutlets, halved
  • 2 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 1 c. red or possibly white wine
  • 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced

Direcciones

  1. Blend crumbs, flour, seasonings. Dip chicken breast in water, then dredge in the seasoned crumbs. Heat half of oil and butter in skillet. Saute/fry chicken till lightly browned, adding more oil and butter as needed. Transfer chicken to casserole sprayed with Pam.
  2. Add in wine to skillet, heat 30 seconds. Blend 2 Tbsp. flour with 1 c. cool water, add in to wine along with 1/2 c. mushrooms. Bring to boil and let thicken. Pour gravy over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Good served with boiled rice.
