Receta Chickpeas with Chorizo
I absolutely loved this! I'm a huge fan of chorizo and this was great. I cheated though and used canned chickpeas, so I altered the recipe slightly from the original to make sure all the spices got incorporated. I think it turned out pretty good.

Ingredientes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 onion, minced
- 3 cans garbanzo beans
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch allspice
- olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 12 oz chorizo
- chopped fresh parsley
Direcciones
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the onion and bay leaf.
- In a bowl combine the beans, cinnamon, allspice and thyme.
- Cook the chorizo until crispy.
- Add the onion and chorizo, and parsley as desired to the beans.
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
