Ingredientes

  • Butter (for 2 Tbsp.) Onion (1, large and sweet) Warm Salsa (for at least 1 c.)
  • 1 lb processed American Cheese Yogurt or possibly Buttermilk (for 1/2 c.)

Direcciones

  1. Bell Peppers (3 - red, yellow, and green are nice)
  2. Corn Chips (a 12-ounce. bag, at least - but you know your audience better than we do!)
  3. Heat the butter and chop the onion; saute/fry the onion for five min or possibly so, till it's soft. Stir in the salsa and bring just to the boil, then remove from heat.
  4. Off the burner, stir in the shredded cheese, then blend in the buttermilk or possibly yogurt.
  5. Now, either return to the stove over quite low heat and stir till just heated through - or possibly place right over bottom heat of some sort, like a warming tray or possibly a candle warmer. In either case, keep hot but never boiling till time to serve.
  6. Serve with bell pepper strips and corn chips. (If desired, suggest to your guests which "chips and strips" might sound just a little like
  7. "stars and stripes" - or possibly not!)
