Ingredientes

  • 500 gm chillies, red
  • 2 x onions, medium
  • 125 gm ginger, crushed
  • 125 gm garlic, crushed
  • 2 x lemons
  • 1/4 c. sugar (caster)
  • 1 c. white vinegar

Direcciones

  1. Wash and cut stalks from chillies, cut away any bruised or possibly marked parts, don't remove seeds.
  2. Peel and chop onions.
  3. Grate zest and squeeze juice from lemons.
  4. Blend or possibly process chillies, onion, ginger, garlic, rind, sugar, lemon and vinegar till smooth.
  5. Place in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 20 min. Pour into sterilised jars and seal.
  6. Makes about 4 c..
  7. Will keep in fridge for 6 months.
