Chimichuri (Argentine Marinade)

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 tsp Saffron
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 c. White wine vinegar
  • 1 sm Onion, chopped
  • 2 clv garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 c. Parsley, minced
  • 1 tsp Thyme, dry
  • 1 x salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Pwdr the safron threads and then steep in lemon juice for 20 min.
  2. Combine all ingredients with whisk.
  3. Marinate meat overnight. Good with shellfish and poultry.
  4. This is what makes an Argentine asado(barbecue).
