Rawfully Tempting™: Chocolate-Cherry Tahini Martini
I'm thoroughly enjoying some products I received from one of my favorite resources - Living Tree Community. I was so inspired by the beautifully created ingredients that I put together this "martini." Please check out their site. Their products are super high quality and chock full of LOVE! If you don't have these ingredients, it's easy to substitute. I'll give you some hints, but please feel free to be as artistic as you dare!
Chocolate-Cherry Tahini Martini Ingredients
(Inspired by Living Tree Community)
- 1/2 cup almonds (soaked overnight)
- 6 pili nuts (optional - adds creaminess)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Living Tree Community Tahini Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Dream of Paradise (optional) - or just eat it out of the jar!!!!
- 2 Tablespoons white chia seeds
- 1 handful ice cubes
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Coriander Blossom or Snugglespoon Honey (or your fav sweetener)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- handful of kale or greens (optional)
Directions
Blend almonds, pili nuts and water until creamy. Add chopped banana, tahini butter, Dream of Paradise and remaining ingredients.
Taste for sweetness and adjust as desired, and feel free to add greens. (I did not use them for this recipe)
Serve in martini glasses and garnish with sliced banana.
Substitutions:
- No Pili Nuts? Add a few macadamia nuts.
- No Tahini Butter? Use raw sesame seeds and a little extra water.
- No Dream of Paradise? Add 1 Tablespoon cacao powder or carob powder and 2 teaspoons coconut oil. Throw in a few dried cherries too. (Or, add 1 drop of Medicine Flower Cherry Extract).
Never feel intimidated if you are missing ingredients. It's so easy to adjust raw vegan recipes. Just have some fun!
