%20I%20have%20had%20this%20recipe%20marked%20to%20make%20for%20a%20long%20time%20but%20I%20was%20waiting%20for%20a%20special%20occasion%20to%20use%20it%20for.%20It%20was%20one%20of%20my%20dear%20friends%20birthday%20a%20couple%20weeks%20back%20and%20her%20husband%20was%20gone%20for%20it%20so%20I%20invited%20her%20and%20her%20kids%20for%20dinner%20and%20dessert.%20She%20requested%20cheesecake%20and%20I%20decided%20now%20was%20the%20time%20to%20try%20this%20recipe.%20I%20mean%20this%20said%20dear%20friend%20was%20in%20the%20delivery%20room%20with%20me%20while%20I%20had%20my%20baby%209%20months%20ago%20because%20my%20husband%20was%20gone%20at%20the%20time.%20She%20listened%20to%20me%20yell%20out%20in%20pain(because%20said%20baby%20came%20way%20too%20fast%20for%20an%20epidural%20or%20any%20pain%20medication%20for%20that%20matter)So%20I%20decided%20this%20was%20the%20least%20I%20could%20do%20to%20make%20up%20for%20that.%20It%20was%20a%20hit%20to%20say%20the%20least!!%20Her%20oldest%20son(11)%20said%20it%20was%20the%20best%20cheesecake%20he%20has%20ever%20had!!%20Now%20that%20is%20a%20compliment!!%20So%20if%20you%20want%20some%20compliments%20get%20in%20the%20kitchen%20right%20now%20and%20make%20this%20for%20your%20loved%20ones!!%20Oh%20and%20so%20I%20don't%20forget%20I%20got%20this%20recipe%20over%20at%20Mel's%20Kitchen%20Cafe..Just%20like%20so%20many%20of%20my%20other%20recipes!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Chip%20Cookie%20Dough%20Cheesecake%20adapted%20from%20Mel's%20Kitchen%20Cafe%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECrust:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20vanilla%20and%20blend.%20Mix%20in%20the%20flour%20and%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%20The%20dough%20will%20be%20fairly%20soft%20but%20you%20don't%20want%20it%20too%20soft%20so%20add%20a%20little%20more%20flour%20if%20you%20need%20to.%20Roll%20the%20dough%20into%20small%20balls(about%20teaspoon%20sized)%20and%20place%20them%20on%20a%20wax%20lined%20plate%20or%20cookie%20sheet%20and%20freeze%20while%20you%20are%20making%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20cheesecake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20crust:%20Lightly%20grease%20the%20bottom%20of%20a%2010%20inch%20springform%20pan.%20Combine%20the%20butter%20sugar%20and%20crumbs%20and%20mix%20well.%20Press%20into%20the%20bottom%20and%20up%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20springform%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20cheesecake:%20With%20you%20mixer%20or%20hand%20mixer%20beat%20the%20cream%20cheese%20and%20sugar,%20on%20high%20speed,%20until%20smooth.%20Add%20the%20eggs%20and%20flour%20and%20mix%20till%20smooth.%20Add%20the%20vanilla%20and%20sour%20cream%20and%20mix%20just%20until%20blended.%20Be%20careful%20not%20to%20overmix%20because%20that%20causes%20the%20cheesecake%20to%20crack%20when%20baking.%20Pour%20half%20the%20batter%20into%20the%20prepared%20crust.%20Gently%20stir%20in%20the%20cookie%20dough%20balls%20and%20chocolate%20chips%20into%20the%20remaining%20batter%20and%20dump%20into%20the%20pan%20and%20spread%20out%20evenly.%20Bake%20the%20cheesecake%20at%20325%20degrees%20for%20one%20hour.%20Turn%20off%20the%20oven%20and%20leave%20the%20cake%20in%20for%2030%20more%20minutes,%20without%20disturbing%20it.%20or%20opening%20the%20door.%20Remove%20from%20oven%20and%20let%20cool%20completely%20and%20then%20let%20sit%20in%20fridge%20overnight%20before%20serving.%20Serve%20with%20REAL%20whipped%20cream%20and%20store%20leftovers%20in%20the%20fridge.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eas%20you%20can%20see%20mine%20cracked%20a%20little%20but%20nothing%20a%20little%20dollop%20of%20real%20whipped%20cream%20can't%20hide!!!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
