Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Butter Flavor Crisco
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 x Egg, separated
  • 1 x 1 oz square unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 c. Flour, all purpose
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Nuts, minced
  • 30 x Chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Direcciones

  1. Preparation Time: 30 Min
  2. Bake Time: 8 Min
  3. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheet with Butter Flavor Crisco.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Combine Butter Flavor Crisco, sugar, lowfat milk, vanilla and egg yolk.
  6. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer till well blended. Add in melted chocolate. Mix well.
  7. Combine flour and salt. Add in to chocolate mix. Mix till well blended. Form dough into 1 inch balls.
  8. Beat egg white slightly with fork. Coat balls with egg white. Roll in minced nuts. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Press thumb gently in center of each cookie.
  9. Bake at 350 for 7 min. Remove from oven. Place chocolate kiss in each thumbprint. Return to oven for 1 more minute. Remove to cooling rack.
  10. Makes 2 1/2 dozen 2 inch cookies.
