Ingredientes

  • 4 (1 ounce.) unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 2 dozen lady fingers

Direcciones

  1. Heat chocolate in double boiler. Add in sugar, salt and water. Stir till sugar dissolves. Cook slightly, add in egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Cook 2 min or possibly till slightly thick, stirring constantly. Add in vanilla and mix in egg whites. Refrigeratethoroughly and mix in whipped cream. Refrigerateabout 1 hour in refrigerator.
  2. Put wax paper in mold, place lady fingers in mold, then add in mousse and more lady fingers on top. Refrigeratefor 24 hrs.
