Ingredientes

  • 6 ounce semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 x Large eggs -- separated
  • 2 Tbsp. light rum
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg Whipped Cream

Direcciones

  1. Heat chocolate over warm water in top of double boiler. Beat egg yolks till thick and lemon colored. Gradually stir about one-fourth of chocolate into yolks, stirring constantly; add in to remaining chocolate, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat; stir in rum, almond extract, and nutmeg.
  3. Beat egg whites (at room temperature) till stiff peaks form; gently fold into chocolate mix. Spoon into cordial glasses or possibly demitasse c.. Chill.
  4. Before serving, top with whipped cream.
  5. Yield: 4 servings.
