Ingredientes

  • 1 can Sweetened condensed lowfat milk, 14.5z
  • 1 can Evaporated lowfat milk, 12 ounce
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 6 x Egg yolks
  • 1/4 c. Chocolate syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. Dark rum
  • 1 c. Sugar to caramelize the pan

Direcciones

  1. Combine the milks, Large eggs, egg yolks, chocolate, and rum in a food processor or possibly blender and process well. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Heat the sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly till the sugar has melted and is a light amber colour, about 20 min. Pour the caramel into 6 individual 8-ounce ramekins or possibly molds, or possibly a 9x4 inch loaf pan. Pour the flan mix over the caramel. Place in a water bath and bake uncovered for 15 min. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and continue baking till set, when a knife inserted comes out clean, about 30 min more.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cold completely. To serve: Run a knife around the edges of the ramekins or possibly mold and invert the flans onto a serving platter or possibly individual plates.
