Ingredientes

  • 1 can sauerkraut - (1 lb) liquid removed, rinsed Nonstick cooking spray as needed
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 c. minced onions
  • 1/2 c. shredded carrot
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/2 pkt turkey smoked sausage ring (1 lb pkg)
  • 1/2 pkt chicken and apple mini-sausage (1 lb pkg)
  • 1 c. low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 12 sm red potatoes Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oven to 325 degrees. Place the sauerkraut in a 3-qt, deep casserole; set aside.
  2. Spray a nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Add in the oil and heat over medium heat till warm. Add in the onions and cook till tender and lightly browned, about 5 min. Add in the carrot and garlic and continue to cook till the carrots are tender, 2 min. Add in the vegetables to the sauerkraut.
  3. Cut the turkey and chicken sausages into 12 pcs each and add in to the sauerkraut. Add in the broth, wine and potatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover the casserole and bake 1 hour. Uncover and bake till just starting to brown, about 30 min. Serve with French bread and a crunchy salad.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
