- Chow Chow (Chayote) – 1, peeled, chopped
- Onion – 1, big, finely chopped
- Garlic – 3 cloves, crushed
- Tomatoes – 2, finely chopped
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 3 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – a pinch
- Salt as per taste
- Grind together:
- Coconut – 2 tblsp, grated
- Green Chillies – 2
- Saunf – 1 tsp
- Gram Flour – 3 tsp
- For Tempering:
- Oil – 3 tsp
- Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
- Saunf – 1 tsp
