Ingredientes

  • 4 c. minced cabbage
  • 3 c. minced cauliflower
  • 2 c. minced onions
  • 2 c. minced green tomatoes
  • 2 c. minced sweet green peppers
  • 1 c. minced sweet red peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. Heinz pure vinegar 5% acid
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp ginger

Direcciones

  1. Combine minced vegetables; sprinkle with salt. Let stand 4 to 6 hrs in a cold place. Drain well.
  2. Prepare home canning jars and lids according to manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Combine vinegar, sugar, and spices; simmer 10 min. Add in vegetables; simmer 10 min. Bring to boiling. Carefully ladle warm relish into warm jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Adjust caps.
  4. Process 10 min in a boiling water bath canner.
  5. This recipe yields 4 pints.
  6. Yield: 4 pints
