Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Butter Or possibly Margarine
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Cocoa
  • 1/2 c. Buttermilk
  • 2 x Large eggs, Beaten
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 c. Butter Or possibly Margarine
  • 1/4 c. Cocoa
  • 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1 box Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. Cake: Sift flour and sugar together. Bring butter, shortening, water and cocoa to a boil in a sauce pan. Pour over flour mix while still warm.
  2. Add in buttermilk, Large eggs, soda and vanilla. Spoon into a large baking sheet with sides. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 min. Ice cake while still warm.
  3. Icing: Combine butter, cocoa and lowfat milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat. Add in powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. This
