Receta Christmas Eve Chocolate Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Sugar
- 2 c. Flour
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1/2 c. Butter Or possibly Margarine
- 1 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Cocoa
- 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- 2 x Large eggs, Beaten
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c. Butter Or possibly Margarine
- 1/4 c. Cocoa
- 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 box Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 c. Minced nuts
Direcciones
- Cake: Sift flour and sugar together. Bring butter, shortening, water and cocoa to a boil in a sauce pan. Pour over flour mix while still warm.
- Add in buttermilk, Large eggs, soda and vanilla. Spoon into a large baking sheet with sides. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 min. Ice cake while still warm.
- Icing: Combine butter, cocoa and lowfat milk in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat. Add in powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. This
