Cindy's Double Pecan Chocolate Chippie

Ingredientes

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 lg. large eggs
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. pecan halves
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of pie crust and place in the freezer for 10 min.In a large bowl with wire whisk or possibly fork, beat large eggs, corn syrup, sugar, and butter till well blended. Pour mix into crust over chocolate chips. Arrange pecan halves into circles on top of the filling. We always place 2 layers of pecans on our pie (they are the lest fattening part). Bake 50-55 min in a 350 degree oven till just set. Cool on a wire rack.
  2. The chocolate chips add in an extra-special flavor for those special occasions. Just remember which the flavor weighs in at 500 calories for each serving.
