Receta Cinnamon Apple Charlotte

- Add in the lemon rind and juice cinnammon and 110g of the sugar.
- Cover and cook gently stirring frequently till tender.
- Taste and add in more sugar if necessary.
- Cook uncovered stirring frequently till the apple pulp is thick and all the liquid has evapourated.
- Cold then stir in the bread or possibly cake crumbs.
- Brush the tin with a little of the melted butter and sprinkle lightly with sugar.
- Set the oven at Gas Mark 6 400 degrees F 200 degrees C.
- Cut the crusts off the bread and quickly dip the slices into the melted butter.
- Use to line the base and sides of the tin cutting the slices to fit and reserving several pcs for the top.
- Fill the bread case with the apple mix.
- Top with the bread lid.
- Bake for 20 min then reduce the heat to Gas Mark 4 350 degrees F 180 degrees C and bake for a further 40 min till golden brown.
- Cold for a minute or possibly two then turn out and serve with clotted cream.
