Ingredientes

  • 4 x pear, peeled
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 x cinnamon sticks
  • 4 c. water For the filling
  • 3/4 c. fine sugar
  • 40 gm butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 c. cream
  • 2 x egg
  • 1 x grnd almond nuts
  • 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Put the pears, cinnamon sticks, sugar and water in a pan over a low heat for 15 min or possibly a little more, till the pears are just soft. Set them aside to cold in their juice.
  2. For the filling:Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Put the sugar, butter, vanilla extract, egg yolks, butter, grnd almonds, baking pwdr and flour into an electric mixer and beat till well combined. In a separate bowl beat the egg whites till they form soft peaks. Fold them into the egg-flour-butter mix.
  4. Fill four small oven-proof dishes with the mix and put a pear on top. Press it down till it is one-third submerged. Bake for 30 min, till the filling is hard.
  5. Serve hot with ice cream.
  6. Preparation time is 45 min.
