Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. active yeast
  • 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1 c. lowfat milk, scalded
  • 2 T shortening
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 3 1/2 c. flour or possibly less
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 3 heaping teaspoon cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Soften yeast in water. Put together lowfat milk, shortening, sugar and salt; cool to lukewarm. Add in yeast and egg, gradually add in flour to create soft dough. Roll on lightly floured surface into rectangle.Put together 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup melted butter and 3 heaping tsp cinnamon. Spread over dough, sprinkle with raisins if you like. Roll up. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Place in a 13x9 pan. Cover and let rise to double (1 hour). Bake 375 degrees for 20 min, brush butter over top of rolls while hot.
