Citrus Hazelnut Vinaigrette

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
  • 1 x shallot peeled, chopped
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/3 c. hazelnut oil
  • 1/3 c. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil Salt to taste Freshly grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring orange juice to a boil. Lower to a simmer and reduce till only 1/3 c. remains. Cold to room temperature.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine orange juice, shallot, thyme, vinegar and orange zest. Slowly whisk in both oils till thick and emulsified. Season with salt and pepper. Chill till needed.
