%20contact%20me%20and%20I'll%20come%20over%20and%20make%20it%20for%20you%20or%20teach%20you%20to%20make%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20first%20place%20to%20start%20it%20with%20the%20sauce.%20%20I%20sauted%201%20small%20chopped%20onion%20in%20olive%20oil%20in%20a%20large%20sauce%20pan%20until%20soft.%20%20Then,%20I%20added%201/2%20pound%20ground%20round%20beef%20and%201/2%20pound%20Italian%20sausage%20and%20sauteed%20the%20meat%20with%20the%20onions%20until%20cooked%20through.%20%20To%20the%20cooked%20meat%20and%20onions,%20I%20added%202%20chopped%20cloves%20of%20garlic,%201%20teaspoons%20dried%20oregano%20(I%20think%20if%20it's%20possible%20to%20have%20a%20dried%20oregano%20addiction,%20I%20have%20one!),%201/2%20teaspoon%20hot%20red%20pepper%20flakes,%20salt%20and%20pepper%20and%201%20tablespoon%20of%20sugar.%20%20After%20cooking%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20I%20added%201%20large%20can%20of%20crushed%20tomatoes%20and%201/2%20can%20water%20and%20reseasoned%20with%20a%20little%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20%20I%20brought%20the%20sauce%20up%20to%20a%20big%20bubble%20and%20then%20turned%20it%20down%20to%20simmer%20for%20about%2045%20minutes.%20Then%20I%20removed%20it%20from%20the%20heat%20and%20let%20it%20sit%20until%20I%20was%20ready%20to%20assemble%20the%20lasagna.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat's%20really%20the%20hardest%20part%20of%20this%20meal.%20%20While%20the%20sauce%20was%20%22resting%22,%20I%20combined%201%20container%20of%20ricotta%20cheese%20with%201%20egg%20and%20wisked%20it%20together%20until%20well%20combined.%20%20I%20shredded%202%20cups%20of%20mozzerella%20cheese%20and%201/2%20cup%20parmesan%20and%20set%20them%20aside%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20it's%20time%20to%20assemble.%20%20I%20tried%20really%20hard%20to%20find%20fresh%20lasagna%20noodles,%20but,%20no%20surprise%20that%20none%20were%20located.%20%20Because%20I%20strongly%20dislike%20the%20lasagna%20noodles%20with%20ruffled%20edges%20and%20refuse%20to%20use%20them,%20I%20opted%20for%20the%20Barilla%20no%20boil%20noodles.%20%20For%20this%20lasagna,%20I%20used%20an%208x8%20square%20pan.%20%20I%20started%20by%20coating%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20pan%20with%20a%20few%20good%20spoonfuls%20of%20the%20sauce%20and%20placed%20two%20noodles%20on%20top.%20%20Then,%20I%20layered%20on%20about%201/2%20of%20the%20ricotta%20mixture,%201%20cup%20of%20mozzerella,%20and%20enough%20sauce%20to%20generously%20cover%20the%20top.%20%20Next,%20I%20placed%20two%20lasagna%20noodles%20on%20top,%20covered%20them%20with%20the%20remaining%20ricotta%20cheese%20and%20a%20few%20more%20spoonfulls%20of%20sauce%20to%20cover%20well.%20%20Final%20layer%20was%20two%20more%20noodles,%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20sauce,%20the%20remaining%20mozzerella%20and%20the%20parmesan%20cheese.%20After%20photographing%20it%20because%20it%20was%20too%20beautiful%20to%20resist,%20I%20covered%20it%20with%20foil%20and%20baked%20it%20for%2050-60%20min.%20at%20375%20degrees.%20%20Then,%20I%20removed%20the%20foil%20and%20baked%20it%20for%20another%205-10%20minutes%20until%20the%20cheese%20browned%20and%20let%20it%20rest%20for%2015%20minutes%20(at%20least)%20before%20cutting%20and%20serving.%20%20Here%20is%20it%20fresh%20from%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20served%20it%20with%20just%20a%20simple%20side%20of%20salad%20greens%20dressed%20with%20a%20bit%20of%20red%20wine%20vinegar,%20extra%20virgin%20olive%20oil%20and%20salt%20and%20pepper.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
