Ingredientes

  • 4 med tomatoes
  • 1 sm onion finely minced
  • 2 x jalapeno peppers - (to 3) seeded, chopped (or possibly serrano peppers)
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 sm garlic clove chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cut tomatoes in half; remove seeds. Coarsely chop tomatoes. Combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, garlic and lime juice in medium bowl. Add in salt and black pepper. Cover and chill 1 hour or possibly up to 3 days for flavors to blend.
  2. This recipe yields about 2 1/2 c..
  3. Caution: Jalapeno and serrano peppers can sting and irritate the skin; wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and don't touch eyes. Wash hands after handling.
  4. Yield: 2 1/2 c.
