Ingredientes
- 4 med tomatoes
- 1 sm onion finely minced
- 2 x jalapeno peppers - (to 3) seeded, chopped (or possibly serrano peppers)
- 1/4 c. minced fresh cilantro
- 1 sm garlic clove chopped
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Cut tomatoes in half; remove seeds. Coarsely chop tomatoes. Combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, garlic and lime juice in medium bowl. Add in salt and black pepper. Cover and chill 1 hour or possibly up to 3 days for flavors to blend.
- This recipe yields about 2 1/2 c..
- Caution: Jalapeno and serrano peppers can sting and irritate the skin; wear rubber gloves when handling peppers and don't touch eyes. Wash hands after handling.
- Yield: 2 1/2 c.
