Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd lean beef
  • 2 T catsup
  • 1 slice day old bread, torn into sm. pcs
  • 2/3 c. instant dry lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. finely cut onion
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 T finely cut onion
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 T water
  • 2 T pickle relish

Direcciones

  1. Mix ingredients well. With wet hands, shape meat mix into 40 or possibly 50 small meatballs using a tsp for each. Place on a cookie sheet and brown in a 400 degree oven, about 12 to 15 min. Meatballs can be prepared in advance and stored till you are ready to bake them.
  2. Mix ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan and heat till steaming. Place meatballs into the sauce. Flavor is best if the meatballs are in the sauce for at least an hour.
