Ingredientes

  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Oats not instant
  • 3 1/2 ounce Dry coconut
  • 3/4 c. Vegetable shortening
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 lrg Egg

  1. Preparation Time: 0:25
  2. Sift flour, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt into a large bowl.
  3. Add in the oats and coconut; set aside.
  4. Cream shortening with both sugars till light and fluffy. Can use anelectric mixer set at medium speed. Beat in vanilla and egg till well mixed. Gradually add in flour mix to make a stiff dough.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart, on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated 375-degree oven for 10 min or possibly till golden.
  6. Cold on cookie sheet for 5 min then remove to wire rack to coolcompletely.
  7. Yield: about 5 dozen.
