Ingredientes

  • 1 lrg Tomato, cut into 1/2-inch dice
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly grnd pepper
  • 4 piece cod or possibly halibut fillets, 1 1/2 lbs.
  • 2 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced fresh cilantro
  • 8 x Flour tortillas, heated Lime wedges, for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Make salsa: Combine tomato, lime juice and garlic in medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Combine chili pwdr, cumin, salt, oregano and pepper in small bowl. Rub mix on both sides of fish.
  3. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add in fish and cook till just opaque in center, 3 to 4 min per side. Transfer to platter; keep hot. Add in salsa to pan; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Pour over fish; sprinkle with cilantro.
  4. Serve with tortillas and lime.
