Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Brewed espresso coffee or possibly 3/4 c. very warm water mixed with 2tablespoons instant espresso pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Chilled whipping cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. Stir water and sugar in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat till sugar dissolves and syrup boils 1 minute. Cold syrup. Fold in coffee.
  2. Pour mix into medium-size metal bowl. Freeze till ice mix is solid, about 3 hrs.
  3. Using fork, scrape ice to create flakes. Return to freezer; keep frzn till ready to serve.
  4. Pile coffee granita into stemmed glasses. Top with generous amounts of whipped cream.
