Coffee Liqueur Ice Cream

Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 4 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant coffee pwdr (or possibly more as desired)
  • 1/2 c. Coffee liqueur

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs and sugar in large mixing bowl till well blended. Scald evaporated lowfat milk and coffee pwdr over medium heat till bubbles appear around edge. Gradually stir about 2 c. warm evaporated lowfat milk mix into egg mix. Blend egg mix into remaining warm lowfat milk mix. Cook, stirring, over low heat till mix thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
  2. Chill till well chilled. Stir in coffee liqueur. Pour into ice cream freezer container. Churn and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
  3. Makes 2 qts
