Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Beef Blade Or possibly Chuck Pot Roast
  • 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Oil
  • 2 med Onion, quartered
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 x Beef Bouillon Cube
  • 1/3 c. Warm Water
  • 1 x Acorn Squash, cut in 12 pieces. and pared
  • 2 x Apples, quartered & cored

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge meat and brown in oil in large frying pan. Pour off drippings. Add in onions and 1/4 c. water; cover and cook over low heat 2 1/2 hrs. Dissolve bouillon cube in 1/3 c. warm water. Add in bouillon, squash and apples to meat. Cover and cook 35-40 min till meat and vegetables are tender. Thicken cooking liquid and reserved flour dissolved in water.
