%20%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20always%20have%20frozen%20healthy%20leftovers%20in%20my%20fridge%20that%20I%20can%20thaw%20out%20to%20feed%20my%20family%20in%20a%20time%20crunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2)%20%20Sometimes%20I%E2%80%99m%20simply%20not%20in%20the%20mood%20to%20cook%20and%20I%E2%80%99ll%20turn%20to%20something%20that%E2%80%99s%20quick%20and%20requires%20no%20brain-power%20%E2%80%93%20without%20having%20to%20resort%20to%20fast%20food.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3)%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20a%20complete%20food%20snob.%20%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20always%20cook%20every%20meal%20entirely%20from%20scratch.%20%20(I%E2%80%99m%20a%20busy%20wife,%20mother,%20counselor,%20community%20and%20church%20volunteer.)%20%20I%20appreciate%20convenient%20meals%20from%20time%20to%20time,%20yes%20from%20time%20to%20time.%20%20And%20when%20I%20do%20turn%20to%20convenient%20meals,%20I%E2%80%99m%20very%20selective%20about%20which%20ones%20they%20are.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4)%20%20%E2%80%9DDinner%20ready%20in%20as%20little%20as%2015%20minutes.%E2%80%9D%20%20There%20are%20times%20when%20I%20really%20like%20the%20sound%20of%20that.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5)%20%20Sometimes%20it%E2%80%99s%20reeeeeeally%20nice%20not%20to%20have%20to%20cook%20at%20all!%20%20And%20if%20someone%20else%20is%20going%20to%20do%20the%20cooking%20for%20me%20(ie,%20my%20husband)%20when%20I%E2%80%99m%20beat%20and%20just%20want%20to%20relax%20and%20enjoy%20a%20ready-made%20meal,%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20going%20to%20complain%20if%20they%20reach%20for%20something%20convenient,%20if%20you%20know%20what%20I%20mean.%20Right,%20we%E2%80%99re%20talking%20gift%20horse%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStill,%20as%20I%20mentioned%20at%20the%20end%20of%20Confession%20%233,%20I%20am%20selective.%20%20And%20if%20I%E2%80%99m%20going%20to%20reach%20for%20something%20convenient,%20it%E2%80%99s%20going%20to%20be%20something%20that%20isn%E2%80%99t%20full%20of%20crap%20packed%20full%20of%20chemicals%20and%20who%20knows%20what.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20so%20it%E2%80%99s%20for%20all%20of%20these%20reasons%20that%20I%20agreed%20to%20review%20Campbell%E2%80%99s%20Dinner%20and%20Slow%20Cooker%20Sauces.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThree%20basic%20conclusions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1)%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20impressed%20with%20the%20ingredient%20lists.%20%20They%E2%80%99re%20simple%20and%20clean.%20I%E2%80%99m%20also%20impressed%20by%20the%20fact%20that%20not%20only%20do%20these%20sauces%20not%20contain%20the%20usual%20unhealthy%20soybean%20and%20vegetable%20oils%20so%20commonly%20found%20in%20pre-prepared%20foods,%20several%20of%20them%20actually%20are%20made%20with%20very%20healthy%20oils,%20like%20safflower.%20%20Another%20thing%20I%20looked%20for%20was%20sodium%20content%20and%20the%20general%20nutrition%20info.%20%20Per%20serving:%20%2060%20calories,%202.5g%20fat,%2010mg%20cholesterol%20and%20340%20mg%20of%20sodium.%20%20Not%20bad%20at%20all.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2)%20They%20taste%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3)%20%20Anyone%20can%20make%20them%20%E2%80%93%20they%E2%80%99re%20that%20easy.%20%20And%20they%E2%80%99re%20ready%20in%2015%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20summarize:%20%20Wholesome%20ingredients,%20tastes%20good,%20quick%20and%20easy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20initially%20bought%205%20sauces%20to%20try.%20%20So%20far%20we%E2%80%99ve%20tried%20the%20Shrimp%20Scampi,%20Chicken%20Marsala,%20and%20Thai%20Green%20Curry%20(not%20in%20the%20picture).%20%20Next%20in%20line%20are%20the%20Toasted%20Sesame%20and%20the%20Sweet%20Korean%20BBQ%20(and%20there%20are%20several%20more%20flavors).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOkay,%20now%20with%20those%20confessions%20out%20of%20the%20way,%20let%E2%80%99s%20proceed!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20date%20night.%20%20We%20had%20no%20babysitter.%20%20This%20meant%20it%20was%20going%20to%20be%20an%20at-home%20date%20night.%20This%20further%20meant%20it%20would%20have%20to%20be%20after%20the%20kids%20were%20in%20bed%20%E2%80%93%20which%20would%20leave%20us%20with%20limited%20time%20to%20cook%20and%20eat.%20%20We%20knew%20this%20would%20be%20the%20case,%20so%20we%20came%20up%20with%20a%20plan%20in%20advance%20%E2%80%93%20I%20thought%20this%20would%20be%20a%20good%20time%20to%20try%20out%20these%20dinner%20sauces.%20%20So%20I%20gave%20them%20to%20Todd%20and%20put%20him%20in%20charge%20of%20preparing%20them.%20%20He%20would%20do%20the%20cooking%20and%20I%20would%20take%20the%20pictures.%20%20Perfect!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Let%20me%20add%20one%20thing%20on%20Todd%E2%80%99s%20behalf%20%E2%80%93%20he%E2%80%99s%20actually%20a%20good%20cook%20and%20has%20made%20some%20wonderful%20meals%20for%20us%20before.%20%20Just%20needed%20to%20throw%20that%20out%20there%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETodd%20was%20on%20a%20roll%20%E2%80%93%20these%20recipes%20were%20so%20quick%20to%20make%20that%20he%20made%20TWO%20at%20once%20for%20us%20to%20try%20some%20of%20each.%20%20He%20started%20with%20the%20Chicken%20Marsala.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPoured%20it%20over%20the%20chicken,%20and%20let%20it%20simmer%20while%20he%20then%20prepared%20the%20Shrimp%20Scampi%20(noodles%20still%20cooking).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHe%20fried%20up%20the%20shrimp%20
