Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. softened butter (not runny or possibly whipped)
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 x egg separated
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 dsh salt
  • 1/3 Tbsp. vanilla (or possibly lemon or possibly orange) extract Minced nuts Colored sugar Multi-colored candies

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in egg yolks, flour, salt, and vanilla. Mix well. Fill cookie press with dough and shape fancy cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush the top of each cookie with egg whites beaten slightly with the water. Decorate with minced nuts, colored sugar or possibly candies; or possibly leave plain. Bake in warm oven (400F) till cookies are golden on top and done throughout; break one open to see. Baking time will depend on cookie-press blade you use. Thin cookies take 5 to 6 min; tick ones, 8 to 15 min. Cold slightly, then remove from sheet with spatula or possibly pancake turner. When cold, store airtight.
