My friend Katie is an elementary school teacher down in FL. Katie and I go way back to my junior year of college when she (along with the guy who eventually became my fiance) got into the a cappella group I was in. Anyways, we became fast friends, and, though she's over a thousand miles away, I think of her lots :)
I made these cookies for her 3rd grade (is that right?) class. She has 18 girls in her class (no boys!) and so I was free to make these as girlie as i wanted. Yippie!
The recipe that i used was my standard Sugar Cookie Recipe that I will use till the day I croak. I love it, it's just one of those things that you can always count on.
